While Stadium Fest is a costly endeavor, please remember, your
financial participation is not a requirement to participate. It is a free
outreach event for your congregation. We ask that you pray and then
decide whether or not your congregation plans to give to your Stadium Fest
event. Due to the fact that some churches have expressed a desire to
contribute financially, we have prepared this statement.

Approaches used by churches to support the financial needs of a Stadium Fest event vary. Listed below are a few ideas that may be most successful
for your congregation.

1. Have one or more Stadium Fest Mission Sundays – receive a special
offering for your Stadium Fest event using bulletin announcements, envelopes,
or bulletin inserts. See below for suggested bulletin or pulpit
announcements.
2. View the Stadium Fest event, as a project for which some funds have
already been designated, such as a portion of an evangelism,
outreach, or missions budget.
3. Tithe on your church’s income for one month or for the months leading
up to Stadium Fest.
4. Invite members to give $1.00 for Stadium Fest each week leading up
to the event.
5. You may consider as a church giving one year’s interest from an
endowment; or give part of an endowment.
6. Take up special offerings from Sunday School each week leading up to
Stadium Fest.
7. Encourage Students to raise money to be used toward the post game
concert so that it may remain a free event by; washing cars, spring
cleaning, bake sales, etc.

Suggested Church Bulletin/Pulpit Announcements
For Promoting Stadium Fest Event Support

4 to 6 weeks out from event:

Next week, we will participate in a “Stadium Fest Support
Sunday”. Many Churches in our area have also agreed to be
“Participating Churches”, and will be responding to the same invitation
that we give you today. The Cost of our Stadium Fest event will be
around $80,000.00. It is a free outreach event for our church and an
innovative way to administer the gospel to our community. Please
prayerfully consider the contribution God would have you make in support
of this event. You may send your gift to the church office this week or
place your gift in an envelope labeled “Stadium Fest” in the offering plate
next Sunday. Checks should be made payable to our church, and
we will issue one check to the Scott Dawson Evangelistic
Association.

As our congregation has been blessed through participating in
the Stadium Fest preparation activities, let us prepare the way for even
greater blessings from God through our faithfulness in prayer and
generous gifts in support of Stadium Fest.

Following Week:

Today, we receive your special offering for our Stadium Fest
outreach event with Scott Dawson. Churches across our area are
participating in this same event and will be responding in like manner as
we are today. As we have stated the budget for this event is $80,000
and is totally generated by gift in kind, donations, and sponsorship. Each
person present today has the opportunity to assist in making this event
happen and in participating in reaching our community for Jesus Christ
through Stadium Fest. Your generous gift is support of Stadium Fest is
needed today. God bless you as you give. Please make your checks
payable to our church and we will then issue one check to the Scott
Dawson Evangelistic Association.
