I came as a volunteer for this wonderful event and met so many wonderful people and just saw the Light all around. But one particular person I met is my story. I was volunteering at the Rick and Bubba booth when this lady came over and asked if there was a way to get Rick’s story on CD. Well from there she just started spilling her heart and told me how her son had actually passed away a week or so before Bronner. And how Rick and his message helped her get through it and how she came to a peace about it because of the wonderful words that Rick had spoken. She talked to me for 20 minutes just needing an ear and a hug. It was so wonderful to be able to be there for someone and she said how that just made her feel better to share her story. Her name was Cindy. And if Cindy reads this, she knows who she is and I am still praying for her as she continues to spread her story and testimony. Oh what a Wonderful God we serve! Looking forward to the next Stadiumfest!

My best friend and I were at Stadiumfest for 14 hours and LOVED every minute of it, regardless of the what the volunteer work was. We have a lot of stories, but here’s one from Rick’s invitation time.
I had volunteered to be a stage hand, but also became a last minute counselor because I heard you guys might be short. I had previously been a counselor at GFBC and attended a quick class with your leader Saturday morning.
Well, at Rick’s invitation, I approached a couple of teenagers (girl and guy) who looked to be waiting and asked if they needed to talk to someone. The girls said, “he is.”
I flagged a male counselor over and sent the young man with him and they girl and I were left standing there together after she mentioned she was only there with her boyfriend.
I asked her if she knew Jesus already and she hesitated, said, “I think so,” and then started crying. So, off we went!
As we sat down I started going through the book with her and at one point just embraced this 13-year-old sweetheart because of her sobbing. She wanted to be sure of her salvation and the Holy Spirit definitely had her there for a reason. I told her it had to be a God thing when two total strangers could sit in the middle of a field and cry together!
I thought this was a cool story because she had not intended on talking to anyone herself, but the Lord had a different plan. I’ll definitely be praying for her by name in the coming days as God continues with this good work that has begun.

I was blessed beyond measure at Stadium Fest on Saturday. We missed the children’s presentation of the gospel but my children did make their picture with Bibleman. They loved that! It was beautiful to see all the decisons made at an outdoor event where they could have easily been distracted by other things. My 9-year old went down to pray because of doubts that Satan has given him about his salvation experience. My most memorable part of Saturday was when I looked down at my 5-year old and she had her hand raised in worship to the Lord. I was so touched by the story of Ashley and I am reminded again about it’s not how you die but how you live your life. My son’s father and grandfather were struck by lightening at the age of 23 almost 10 years ago and there were some 50 people saved at his funeral and my prayer is that my life will be glorified and that people will see Jesus in me. I think Louie also said that too many people are sleeping. Amen to that! I pray that Christians including myself will wake up and share the gospel and show God’s love and mercy to all we come in contact with. I am ready for Stadium Fest 2010!

I just wanted to say that I felt truly blessed to be at such an event. To worship with that many people in one place was awesome. To watch my son’s face while the BMX event was going on was a blessing. Then for him to hear the words that followed were great. It has got him to thinking and asking a lot of questions. Even though he did not make a decision that day, a seed has been planted. I continue to pray God will touch him. I ask that you keep him in your prayers. Hearing Jeremy Camp’s story behind “Walking By Faith” was something I needed to hear. My aunt is nearing the end of her battle with cancer. This song has always meant a lot to me, but now it has even more meaning. I want to thank everyone involved with helping put this event on. God bless all of you!!! I will continue to pray for everyone involved with Stadium Fest.

Hi, I want to just express what an AWESOME Day Saturday was! Everything ran smooth and it was SUCH A HUGE Blessing for it to be Free! To have Shuttle Buses, bless there little hearts the buses were NON STOP ALL DAY AND NIGHT! This was an experience I will never forget! I was able to bring my 4 yr old daughter and she will be able to remember this as well. From the time we pulled up in the bus to the time we left seeing all those people give their lives to the Lord, and everybody praising God together I know He was looking down and was SOO proud to call us His Kids! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time and donations to put this event on. I know this was a lot of planning and effort! But it all worked out perfectly( praise God). I hope this is something that can be done annually!!! Yeah it was a little Hot! but PRAISE GOD for a constant breeze! Again THANK YOU!

Great Festival!!!!
Not sure what to expect… brought a big group of both youth and adults from Cross Creek Community Church in Hokes Bluff… but I have been waiting for months to see Chris Tomlin and he never came close enough… until Saturday.
The bus shuttle system was wonderful. We did not have to wait long, even after the concert was over. The BMX was fun and entertaining to watch. The speakers and singers were great! Was disappointed Chris Tomlin did not bring T-shirts and CDs for their booth, but that is beyond your control.
One suggestion, put the big screen to the left of the stage, in front of the football goal. I was watching people and they did not really face that direction to watch it, but it would have been in a great place to see if to the left of the big stage and in front of the goal.
I hope you do this again next year… we will definitely come again and bring more people. Maybe it will not be as hot… but hey… it didn’t rain!!!
Thanks for putting on this event to help “spread the Good news”!!!!

“I just wanted to thank everyone who had a part in StadiumFest. I know my God is great, but I was so touched by the amount of people who gave their lives to the Lord at an outdoor event like this. When I saw a grown man stand up and walk to the stage after the altar call had been made, and after he had just watched Bibleman on stage, oh how my heart cried out in thanks to the Lord. And more people saved after the BMX bike show, and more after Rick spoke, and more and more and more. Thanks to each and every one who gave of yout time to be a part of this. With all of my love and with prayers for all of God’s blessings upon each of you. I just wanted to say thank you!”

“Its Sunday morning after stadium fest and i am still so pumped about last night. It had to be one of the greatest nights of my life. The bands were great but even better everyone was just standing up and praising the Lord together like its supposed to be like. Louie Giglio gave one of the best talks i have ever heard. I think heaven is going to be like that. Everyone just raising their hand worshiping the lord not caring what someone next to us thinks. It was like God says, \” When two or three are gathered in my name I AM THERE\” but it was more like when twenty-five thousand are gathered in my name I AM THERE. And the Lord was there, wrapping everyone in his love. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life and i really hope that they will have it again next year. ”
